In July of 2020, Scotland Regional Hospice announced the cancelation of its annual golf tournament fundraiser due to North Carolina’s restriction of mass gatherings in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Prior to the cancelation, the tournament had been held annually for 33-uninterrupted years raising more than $4 million for patient care.
