HAMLET — At 4:05 p.m., deputies responded to a store on Airport Road following a report of a suspect stealing 15 pocket knives, valued at $50, and $200 in change. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
ROCKINGHAM — At 7:21 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Ellen Road following a report of a suspect attempting to break into the residence and causing $40 of damage to a GE window air conditioning unit. The case was closed by arrest.
OCTOBER 31
CORDOVA — At 10:11 a.m., deputies responded to Cordova Post Office on Ledbetter Street following a report of a suspect causing $300 of damage to the entry door glass. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
HAMLET — At 8:40 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Wiregrass Road following a report of a suspect resisting orders from law enforcement. Bobby Wayne Matthews, 55, was arrested and charged with resisting a public officer.
NOVEMBER 1
ROCKINGHAM — At 10:47 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Mizpah Road following a report of a suspect hacking a victim’s phone and stealing their personal information. The case is still active.
NOVEMBER 3
ROCKINGHAM — At 10:25 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Shaffer Road following a report of a suspect taking down and stealing a fence, valued at $500. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
HOFFMAN — At 10:29 a.m., deputies responded to a residence following a report of a suspect stealing a Ruger LCP .380 semi-automatic handgun, valued at $500, from a vehicle. The case is still active.
ROCKINGHAM — At 7:50 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Freedom Drive following a report of a suspect stealing a 2001 Toyota Avalon, valued at $1,000, and wrecking it off School Street. Tremayne Locklear Jr., 24, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, assaulting a government official or employee and resisting a public officer.
NOVEMBER 4
ROCKINGHAM — At 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Han Pic First Avenue following a report of a suspect causing $150 of damage to the passenger side window of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
ROCKINGHAM — At 6:32 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Safie Third Street following a report of a suspect breaking the windshield of a 2017 Jeep Patriot, causing $200 of damage. The case was closed by exception.
ROCKINGHAM — At 8:09 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Airport Road following a report of a suspect stealing a ceramic owl, valued at $200, from the yard. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
NOVEMBER 5
ROCKINGHAM — At 6:22 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Madison Avenue following a report of a suspect causing $100 of damage to a metal mailbox and post. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
ELLERBE — At 12:20 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on North U.S. Highway 220 following a report of a suspect kicking in the back door, causing $150 of damage, and stealing a jewelry chest, valued at $100, and a miscellaneous costume jewelry, valued at $70. The case is still active.
ROCKINGHAM — At 4:40 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Mill Road following a report of a suspect cutting a fence, causing $100 of damage, and stealing two red Troy Bilt weedeaters, valued at $145. The case is still active.
