Eddie and Sharon King, of Rockingham, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Paige King of Rockingham to Cameron William Bledsoe of Bennettsville, South Carolina.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Patsy King and the late Vernon “Pete” King Sr., as well as Donna Poplin McDuffie and the late Jimmy Poplin Sr. and the late Wilson McDuffie of Rockingham.
Jessica is a 2008 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a graduate of Richmond Community College. She is currently employed with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Rockingham.
The groom-elect is the son of Nelson and Amanda Clark and Floyd and Barbara Bledsoe of Bennettsville. He is the grandson of the late William “W.E.” Peele and the late Rose Marie Peele, as well as Donald Norton and the late Dorothy “Dot” Norton of Bennettsville, Nancy Pierson and the late Cecil Pierson Jr. of Laurel Hill, Harry Clark and wife Betty of Laurinburg, Shirley Cook, Carl Player Sr. of McColl, South Carolina and Raymond Bledsoe of Bladenboro.
Cameron is a 2006 graduate of Marlboro County High School. He is currently employed with Gibson Oil and Gas in Laurel Hill.
The wedding is set to take place at 4 p.m. in the afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at The Wallace Lodge in Marston. A formal reception will follow.
