GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Police in Greensboro are investigating the second shooting death of a man this week.
Lt. J.I. Gladieux said in a statement early Friday that the victim of an assault has died from several gunshot wounds.
Officers were called to a gunshot report shortly before 1 a.m. Friday.
Police said the victim was 41-year-old William Lee Locklear of Greensboro.
No suspects have been arrested.
It’s the second shooting death in Greensboro this week. Thirty-year-old Eric Quinell Turner was killed Tuesday. Police are looking for at least two suspects in Turner’s death.
