ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Alexander “Alex” Prince Bullard passed peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He was 75 years old.

Born Nov. 30, 1942 in Marlboro County to the late Melvin Prince and Maranda Polston Bullard, Mr. Alex was a truck driver with Ard Trucking.

Mr. Alex enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, Facebook, watching old westerns and his dog. He also attended Boykin United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Kay Cottingham of the home; sons, Samuel Bullard of Hamlet; Alex Bullard (Brittney) of Rockingham; Michael Bullard (Abigail) of Cheraw; stepson, Jimmy Walker of Rockingham; daughters, Kathy English (Jay) of Wallace and Debbie Bullard (Christian) of Rockingham; sisters, Sarah “Lib” Rivers (Richard) and Mavis Odom (Charles) both of Bennettsville; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 at Bullard Family Cemetery in Bennettsville.
