At 3:24 a.m., Deputy Jeffrey D. Millen responded to Lake View Trail in Rockingham following a report of a subject’s disorderly conduct. According to the investigation report, the individual allegedly resisted a public officer. The suspect, identified as Dominic Xavier Joye, 21, was arrested, closing the case.
At 9:52 p.m., Deputy Travis D. Bohman responded to Ledbetter Street in Cordova following a report of breaking and entering and assault and battery. According to the investigation report, an individual allegedly entered a residence and assaulted the victim. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
Aug. 23
At 10:19 a.m., Deputy Austin M. Hart responded to King Street in Hamlet following a report of a subject possessing a controlled substance. According to the investigation report, officials found a black scale, several clear baggies, a Pure Silver High Definition package containing two cigars, $10, a black AK-47 magazine, 11 rounds of 7.62×39 mm ammunition, an Interarms AK-47 rifle, a Rock Island Armory M206, six rounds of .38 Special ammunition and 4.9 grams of a green leafy substance.
The suspect, identified as Thomas Allen Lampley, 21, was arrested, closing the case. Lampley was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
