Valentine Eucare III

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Valentine Eucare III, who was born on October 27, 1961, in Sacramento, California, and passed away on May 20, 2026, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He was the beloved husband of 33 years to Wanda Kaye Gardner Eucare. He was a devoted father to Valentine Eucare IV, Shannon Jacobs, Amanda Edgell and her husband Joshua Edgell, and Madyson Eucare; His mother Ellen Trott; He was also a proud grandfather to Scarlett Edgell, Joshua Edgell, Jr., and Brianna Cowick, each of whom brought him great joy and pride. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Eucare, Frederick Eucare, and Elizabeth Britt, who shared in the many chapters of his life and will cherish his memory always.

He was preceded in death by his father Valentine Eucare, Jr., his first wife Sherry Marie McDaniel, and a sister Mary Christy Eucare.

Valentine’s early years were shaped by a unique and adventurous childhood as an Air Force brat, living in many places across the United States. Those experiences helped form the adaptable, resilient, and grounded man he became. He graduated from Severna Park High School, Class of 1980. Following graduation, Valentine answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Air Force, where he served honorably from 1980 to 2000. During his twenty years of service, he rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant, E6 Security Police. His military career reflected his deep sense of duty, his commitment to protecting others, and his unwavering integrity.

A Celebration of his life was Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Second Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating with full military honors. The family received friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a testament to honor, love, and enduring strength, and his memory will remain a blessing to all who carry him in their hearts.
