April 3
At 3:47 p.m., Deputy Austin M. Hart responded to Waymon Chapel Road in reference to a subject possessing methamphetamine, resisting a public officer and driving with a revoked license. The suspect, identified as Maranda Jean-Elizabeth Miles, 38, was arrested, closing the case.
April 4
At 6:45 p.m., Deputy Kevin F. Viana responded to Duncan’s Food Store on Rosalyn Road in Rockingham following a report of an individual taking a soda bottle and trespassing. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
April 5
At 12:53 a.m., Deputy Jeffrey D. Millen responded to East Rockingham Park on Safie Sixth Street in reference to an individual allegedly fleeing and eluding arrest. The suspect, identified as Azaydrien Malice Craig, 19, was arrested, closing the case. Craig is facing multiple charges, including fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official and possession of a firearm by a felon.
April 10
At 2:39 p.m., Lt. Robin C. Smith responded to China Street following a report of misdemeanor larceny and injury to personal property, resulting in damage to a chain-link fence and tools valued at a total of $300. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
April 11
At 1:28 p.m., Sgt. Dustin R. Cain responded to Poole Road in reference to a subject breaking into a motor vehicle and taking possession of personal property. The case is active.
April 12
At 9:52 a.m., Deputy Austin M. Hart responded to Safie Fourth Street following a report of a suspect breaking in and stealing items valued at a total of $5,083. The case was closed by means other than arrest.
