ROCKINGHAM — If your wheels make a personal statement, one you would like to share with the world, then Rockingham Dragway offers the opportunity to do so this Sunday with the return of the Import Face Off series.

This Labor Day Weekend event — which features quarter-mile drag racing, a burnout contest, DJs, vendors and more — allows those interested to vaunt their Volvos, show off their Subarus, hail their Hondas or manifest their Mazdas.

Among the show awards to be presented at 4:30 p.m. will be Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine Bay, Best Display, Best Mitsubishi, Best Toyota, Best Nissan, Best Mazda, Best Euro, Best Civic (two classes), Best Non-Civic Honda, Best Subaru, Best Korean, Best Acura, Best Luxury Exotic, Best Bike and Best Club Representation.

Adult admission is $20 at the gate Sunday afternoon. Children 10 and under are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult and parking is free in the Dragway’s main lot.

The Grudgefest 9 Throwback Motorcycle Shootout will be a precursor to Sunday’s Import Face Off Series, with gates opening at noon Saturday.

It’ll be a full day of two-wheel street bike competition, including the Four Horsemen Shootout, the Street Tire Shootout and the eighth-mile Nitrous Flat Slick Shootout. Adult admission is $20 with kids 12 and under free, along with parking.
