ROCKINGHAM – The Raider boys varsity team continued their strong start to the season Friday night with a 72-61 non-league victory over the visiting Westover Wolverines.
Richmond Senior maintained control throughout the game, building a lead early and holding off a late push from the Wolverines. The win gives the Raiders a perfect 2-0 record as they prepare for their next matchup on Tuesday, December 9, against the Fighting Scots in Laurinburg.
Westover, now 2-4 on the season, will host Hoke County in their next outing.
