ROCKINGHAM – The JV Raider football team continued its dominant season Thursday night with a 47-8 win over Overhills in non-conference play.
The Raiders struck early and maintained control throughout the game, improving their record to 7-1 overall and remaining unbeaten at home. Richmond’s offense was efficient from the start, moving the ball with balance and capitalizing on key defensive stops to build a comfortable lead by halftime.
Overhills managed to find the end zone late, but Richmond’s depth and consistency on both sides of the ball proved too much to overcome. The win marks Richmond’s fourth straight home victory and extends their strong non-conference run to 7-1 on the season.
The Raiders will look to keep their momentum going next week when they visit Pinecrest on Thursday, October 30.
