ROCKINGHAM – The Raider JV soccer team had a strong week on the road and at home, posting wins in both of their matches.

Monday, the Raiders hosted Pine Forest and came away with a decisive 4-0 conference victory. Richmond Senior dominated from the start, scoring once in the first half and adding three more in the second to put the game out of reach. The team’s balanced attack was led by Jaevon LittleJohn, who continues to pace the Raiders offensively with 11 goals this season, and Kingston Gil, contributing assists and playmaking in the midfield. The Raiders’ defense kept the Trojans off the scoreboard, earning another clean sheet.

On Wednesday, Richmond Senior traveled to face Jack Britt in a non-conference matchup and secured a tight 1-0 victory. Freshman Alan Santiago scored the lone goal with an assist from sophomore Angel Huerta, while Richmond’s back line and goalkeeper held firm to preserve the shutout.

The wins improve Richmond Senior’s JV record to 10-6-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play, marking a successful week for the Raiders on both ends of the field.
