PEMBROKE – The Raider JV soccer team earned a strong 3-0 win on the road against Purnell Swett on Monday, continuing to build momentum in non-conference play.
The Raiders struck with a balanced attack, as three different players found their way into the net. Freshman Kingston Gil, freshman Mason Huff, and sophmore Jaevon LittleJohn each scored once. Freshman Elijah Lantz and sophmore Kerick Hairston provided key assists, helping create scoring chances that kept pressure on the Rams’ defense.
On the defensive side, the Raiders held firm to deny Purnell Swett throughout the match. Sophmore goalkeeper Jake Gardner finished with two saves, anchoring the back line and preserving the clean sheet.
With the win Richmond’s JV record now stands at 6-4 for the season.
Up next the JV Raiders will travel to Pine Forest on Monday for a match at 5 p.m.
