In the past, I have written and said things that were not politically correct. Well, imagine that! All I can say is fasten your seat belts and come along on another ride. Because this damn well will not be politically correct.

That’s the sad part, for these written words should be easy for any understanding person to live by. But there will be some who will read nothing but hate into my words. This has nothing to do with hate. My words are written to form some type of understanding among the people who will not let hate go. I am talking about both blacks and whites.

I have said it before — I feel sorry for both of our races. There are those, black and white, who do not want peace. They do not want to understand one another. They live with a bitter heart, and for the most part, they cannot even tell you why. I can: The past. The past that has dried up and been blown away as nothing more than dust.

There are those who will spit on this dust and make it into a mud puddle where nothing is clear to either eye, black or white. Lack of understanding and nothing more. A lack of ability by either race to let it go. These are the haters who do not even understand why they hate. Maybe they were programmed by someone who had this same hate and wanted it to grow and not die.

All that I want at this time in my life is peace, nothing more. Peace that comes from understanding one another. It’s not that hard. I see it in my shop every day. I talk to all races. I have had some unbelievable conversations with people who turned out to be my friends. These are black men and women.

Oh my God. I just made a mistake. I was not supposed to say that I have black friends. That’s not correct.

I have had my own rosy red rectum reamed out for calling my black friends, well, black friends. That’s what they are and I am their white friend. That’s what I am. Reason for the reaming, one person out of roughly 45,000 in the county did not like me wording it that way. This person thought I should call all of my friends… just friends.

B.S. I have black friends, I have Mexican friends, I have Israeli friends, I have Asian friends, I even have Russian and Serbs for friends. I almost forgot, I am even friends with one of the crown princes of Togo — by the way, he’s Muslim . He even has a home in Hamlet. My point is this: Don’t tell me what to call my friends. We get along regardless of our races.

Politically correct or not, here we go. I am fed up with race-baiters, the ones who would drive wedges between the people of this country. It’s so simple to see if you have eyes of your own and don’t see things through other people’s eyes. If you have a happy population, you cannot be controlled. The government and others know this to be fact. Split the people with political and racial views and you control the playing field.

It started at the top and has filtered down.

Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Lewis Farrakhan and others have made a living off the backs of the American people with politics, blackmail and hatred of one another. Obama himself has said things that incited people ‘s hate. When Trayvon Martin was killed, Obama stated that if he had a son, he would have looked like Trayvon. He would not have — he would have been black, and that was it.

Obama has put himself in situations that he should not have as president. Things that should have been left up to the states to work through. The federal government should have just sat on the sidelines. Our states have the right of self-government.

Words from this administration and others have ripped us apart. The intent is there for all who will but look. Salt in the wounds of the past, and now, add the present. New wounds to fester and burst forth with vile corruption, an infection on the land and our people.

May God be my witness, my words are my true feelings. Black lives matter. White lives matter — all lives do matter. But I can’t say that, it’s not politically correct. I damn well don’t care what the few with hate feel about my words.

All life is God-given and precious. All lives do matter. There have been those in the past weeks that have used those same words and they were forced to apologize for using those words. I’ll be dammed if I will.

Black lives matter and white’s lives matter. The black and white lives who put on their blue uniforms matter. These lowlives who would kill our law enforcement officers are nothing but dirt. What do you do with a mad dog? You put it down. Put it down, put it away, whatever it takes. I am not by myself; the good black and white people of this country stand as one on this subject, we all know it is but a few who want to kill officers of the law. They must be stopped.

Our law officers cannot do their jobs. They are not allowed to do their jobs. They are being pushed away from the very people who need their help. This is taking place within the inner cities. What can you expect from our officers at this point? In some cases, they go out on the calls and do nothing. Arrests that should have taken place do not. It’s easier and safer for the officer. I can’t blame him. He is shown no respect in some cases.

There have been 23 law officers killed this year. This punk in Texas who came from behind to kill this father of two was nothing but trash. This lowlife did not have the guts to face the officer; he ambushed this man. What does this say about this type of man? Not much. I started to put the name of this trash in the column, but he is not worth calling by name. Scum of the earth — lower than whale droppings, and that’s the lowest thing on this earth.

In Birmingham, Alabama in the past month, an officer was beaten almost to death. What did the people in this area do? Nothing. No help was given, they actually were seen taking pictures and posting them online. The media tried to make the officer look as though he was the problem. I hope they need an officer one day. They made it look as though the crook was the victim.

In Anson County a month or so back, a white man was beaten to death by four black men. Where was the outcry for this man? He was beaten because he was white and he had money on him. He was observed by a black woman with cash and she informed the four black men. I hope she has been brought up on charges. She might not have beat him, but she was the catalyst for his death. Punishment is due to all of them.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil, the wheel gets the attention. It’s time to say it as it is. All lives do matter. This war on law enforcement officers has to stop. Those who would instigate these killings are just as guilty as the ones who do the killing.

I and others like me, black and white, are fed up with this disrespect and the killings of our law enforcement officers. It’s time for open season on these few who want to be nothing more than cowards and would shoot an officer to death as he is eating a meal or pumping gas.

These men and women, their lives matter. Their lives matter more. For they are the ones who protect all of us . Hope versus despair — for without hope, despair conquers all, and all is lost. I can only hope that these humble words can change the mind of but one person who sees law enforcement officers as the enemy.

They are not the enemy; they are here to protect. Let them do their jobs without fear of the outcome, good or bad. They serve us all.

I stand with these men and women of law enforcement. I stand with them as all of the law-abiding men and women of this great country should. God bless all men and women in uniform. Pray for America and our people — all of our people.
