Victory sworn in as assistant DA

ROCKINGHAM — Matthew Victory was sworn in as an investigator and assistant district attorney Monday morning in Richmond County District Court.

Chief District Court Judge Scott T. Brewer administered the oath of office. Victory will work with District Attorney Reece Saunders in Prosecutorial District 16C.

Victory was previously an assistant district attorney in Alamance County, working primarily in district court. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
