ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Saundra Elizabeth King of East Rockingham, who has been reported missing.
According to investigators, King is 50 years old, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. Authorities said it is unknown where she was last seen or what clothing she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
Anyone with information about King’s whereabouts is encouraged to call 911, Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 910-997-5454 or Capt. Mitch Watson at 910-410-1160. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the P3 Tips app.
In March, Sheriff Mark B. Gulledge announced the Missing Persons Task Force was actively investigating the disappearances of four men who have been missing from several months to nearly a decade. Richmond County Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to each case, for a total of $40,000.
• Dennis Wayne Bailey, 69, was reported missing Jan. 2, 2025, from the Ashley Chapel community.
• Nicholas Drew Perkins, 37, was reported missing June 26, 2025. He was last seen in the East Rockingham community.
• Joseph Michael Blake, legally known as Sol Vain Zivek, was 51 when he was last seen at his Ellerbe home in March 2019. His last known contact was a text message sent March 29, 2019.
• Alvin Benson “Bent” Covington was last seen in late 2015 near the Food Lion on U.S. 1. At the time of his disappearance, investigators believed he could have been in the areas of Cartledge Creek Road, Northside Drive or the Philadelphia community.
