RICHMOND COUNTY — A Robeson County woman was arrested in Richmond County after being accused of a misdemeanor larceny at the Walmart in Rockingham.
According to the arrest warrant, Sandy Arthella Marie Revels, of Lumberton, stole a Hiprint G2 x 2 TV backlight on March 31, valued at $317.05.
Revels is also facing additional charges of second-degree trespassing. Authorities allege she “willfully did without authorization enter and remain on the premises” after she was notified that she was not allowed to enter Walmart.
She was booked into the Richmond County Jail on a $1,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance was on April 1, and she is scheduled to appear in court on April 9.
On April 2, Revels was found in possession of an undisclosed amount of fentanyl, a Schedule II controlled substance, at the Richmond County Detention Center. Revels is being held without bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 16.
Revels is also facing multiple traffic citations in Robeson County.
In a separate case, a Moore County man is facing multiple charges in Richmond and Moore counties.
According to a citation issued by the N.C. State Highway Patrol, Curtis Dean Campbell, 57, of Pinehurst and Carthage (court records have two addresses for him,) chased an “innocent” person and ran them off the road before leaving the scene on Saturday, March 28, on State Road 1103. The citation also states Campbell attempted to do the same incident to another person in Richmond County.
That same day, Campbell allegedly broke into a box truck owned by Lee Berry and stole vegetables, fruit, bird houses, gas containers, wire, metal, plastic totes, a battery charger, fruit baskets, a hand truck, corn hole boards, a fan, wire racks, “and other assorted items.” The property was valued at a total of $3,500.
The Highway Patrol citation stated that Campbell “wrecked out” with a “huge amount of property found.”
Campbell was arrested and charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny, flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving with wanton disregard, speeding, failing to maintain lane control, and failing to heed a red light or siren.
He is also facing additional charges in Moore County for the incident that occurred there, including hit and run, leaving the scene with property damage, failure to report an accident, and reckless driving to endanger.
Campbell was booked in the Richmond County Jail under a combined secured bond of $25,000. Campbell appeared in court on April 2 for his Richmond County charges and is set to appear June 12 for his Moore County charges.
