ROCKINGHAM — The Rockingham Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Feb. 15, 2026, in the Leak Street area of Rockingham.
The department is asking residents and businesses within the outlined area to assist detectives by reviewing any available surveillance footage.
“Anyone located within the depicted area is asked to review their security cameras, doorbell cameras, or other surveillance systems for any video footage captured between 2:15 am and 2:30 am.,” said the RPD in a social media post. “Detectives are seeking any video that may assist in establishing a timeline of events related to this investigation.”
Investigators are working to establish a timeline of events surrounding the shooting and believe video evidence from the area could aid the case.
