SOUTHERN PINES – Carolina Eye Associates, P.A. recently announced the addition of Joelle Fisher, O.D., to its medical staff. She will be serving patients in the Fayetteville, Rockingham, Southern Pines, and Wadesboro clinics.
Dr. Fisher specializes in primary eye care and surgical co-management. Her specialty covers the medical treatment of diseases and disorders affecting the eyes and pre- and post-op patient care management.
After completing her undergraduate degree, double majoring in Neuroscience and Health Systems with a minor in Chemistry at Thiel College, Dr. Fisher earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry, where she graduated Cum Laude.
She also earned membership in the Beta Kappa Sigma Optometric Honor Society, served as president of the North Carolina State Association, and served as vice president of the Ocular Disease Club and the Sports Vision Club.
Dr. Fisher enjoys seeing all patients, but has a strong interest in pediatrics, myopia control, and soft contact lenses.
Dr. Fisher married her husband shortly after her graduation. They enjoy spending time together playing pickleball and playing with their dog, Winnie.
