I am pleased to share that American Legion Post 147 Rockingham-East Rockingham has reaffirmed its commitment to The Four Pillars of The American Legion, which reflect the organization’s foundational values.
Today marked the commencement of the annual Stuff the Bus school supplies drive in Richmond County. The Fourth Pillar, dedicated to Children and Youth, emphasizes the importance of supporting the well-being and future of America’s children. This initiative aims to strengthen families and bolster organizations providing essential services to needy children.
Commander Carlton Hawkins presented a check to Michelle Parrish, Executive Director of the United Way of Richmond County, during the event. This gesture symbolizes our continued support for the youth in our community.
