ROCKINGHAM — According to ABC 11, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Aberdeen Police and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, have arrested five people in a home invasion and homicide investigation.
The home invasion took place on Oct. 8. Deputies arrived and found 23-year-old Tynasha Collins dead with a gunshot wound. 17-year-old Darius Nicholson of Richmond County was shot during the incident and died at a hospital.
Deputies believe that Nicholson was involved in the home invasion and was shot by someone inside the house.
Trevall Semaj, 22, of Hamlet has been charged with murder and is being held at the Moore County Detention Center.
Four others that were charged from this incident were from Aberdeen. Some were also charged with accessory to murder and various drug trafficking charges. Another suspect, a 15-year-old juvenile, was taken into custody for one count of accessory to murder.
