Sarno earns real estate license

SOUTHERN PINES — Clift Commercial Real Estate senior vice president Kimberly Sarno has obtained her North Carolina real estate license and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the company announced Thursday.

Sarno has been a key part of Clift Commercial’s successful commercial real estate leadership in the community and across the state, Clift said in a news release. She is able to assist clients with all real estate needs and also handles property management at Clift Commercial along with listing/showing or commercial and residential properties in the area.

As a native of the Pinehurst-Southern Pines area, Sarno developed her customer service skills working at The Pinehurst Sundry, a village of Pinehurst staple that is owned by her parents. After high school, Sarno continued working for her family businesses and attending college.

In 2002, she began working as an administrative assistant at the law firm of Rowland & Yauger, and in 2004, Sarno joined Clift Commercial Real Estate.

“Her many years of dedication and capability have allowed her quick achievement through the ranks of corporate promotion and personal achievements, including obtaining her real estate brokerage license,” a company release states.

Sarno is a graduate of Pinecrest High School and Sandhills Community College. She continues to build her knowledge base in both real estate services and marketing and said she looks forward to earning the CCIM designation in 2016.
