ROCKINGHAM — “Cool Cars for a Cause” will return to the Richmond County Hospice campus this April following a two-year delay.
“We didn’t get to have this event in 2020 or 2021,” said RCH Director of Public Relations Julie Woody. “It’s nice to be back and gathering people at the campus.”
Watson-King Funeral Home is presenting the event, with all of the proceeds going toward the hospice.
The first year of the event in 2019 drew over 50 vehicles for the fundraiser. Woody said they hope to emulate that success this year.
Award categories include best modern muscle, best old school muscle, best project car, best cruiser bike, best rat rod, best street rod, best interior, best truck, best GM, best Ford and many other categories.
“Cool Cars for a Cause” will take place on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at 1119 US HWY 1 North, Rockingham. Food and vendor spots are available and that registration is due by March 25.
Registration for vehicles begins at 8:00 a.m. the morning of the event. For more information, contact Woody at 910-997-4464.
