ROCKINGHAM — At 3:20 p.m., police responded to Fayetteville Road following a report of a suspect cutting four catalytic converters, valued at $3,000, off of a vehicle. The case is inactive.

Sept. 10

ROCKINGHAM — At 9:46 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Holly Road following a report of a stolen Ford F-150 truck, valued at $15,000. The case is active.

HAMLET — At 3:34 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Boyd Lake Road following a report of a suspect taking a weapon out of a vehicle. The case is active.

HAMLET — At 6:28 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Whippoorwill Lane following a report of a suspect stealing four four-wheeler tires, valued at $350. The case is active.

ROCKINGHAM — At 2:19 a.m., police responded to Quik Chek on US 1 South following a report of a lost wallet, with various ID cards. The case is inactive.

ROCKINGHAM — At 7:46 a.m., police responded to Armstead Street following a report of a suspect throwing a brick and damaging a windshield, valued at $200, and scratches on hood, valued at $300. The case is inactive.

ROCKINGHAM — At 8:00 p.m., police responded to McArthur Drive to serve a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The Rockingham Police Department charged Erica Nicole Whaley.

HAMLET — At 7:28 p.m., deputies responded to an office building on Airport Road following a report of an unknown person stealing a GMC Yukon, valued at $10,000, a Kabota farm tractor, valued at $8,000, a Troy built lawn mower, valued at $3,000, an air compressor, valued at $200, and a pull behind trailer, valued at $5,000. The case is active.

ELLERBE — At 4:43 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Second Street following a report of four used vehicle shocks, valued at $200, and an Interstate vehicle battery, valued at $100, being stolen. The case is closed by means other than arrest.

ROCKINGHAM — At 2:39 a.m., police responded to a sidewalk on Cabel Drive following a report of a suspect assaulting a female and damaging a driver side window and door, valued at $800. The Rockingham Police Department charged Antonio Jaleel Ingram.

ROCKINGHAM — At 3:08 p.m., police responded to a residence on East Washington Street following a report of a suspect taking a victim’s Taurus 9MM handgun, valued at $400. The case is active.

ROCKINGHAM — At 12:47 p.m., police responded to a community center on Mill Road following a report of a damage to a window, valued at $500. The case is inactive.

ROCKINGHAM — At 6:46 p.m., police responded to the Walmart on US HWY 74 following a report of a suspect taking Nectar’s Chapstick without property. The case is closed by means other than arrest.

ROCKINGHAM — At 10:31 p.m., police responded to the Walmart on US HWY 74 following a report of a suspect stealing sunglasses, lighters and flashlights, valued at $82. The case is closed by means other than arrest.
