VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

NEW HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH will hold Vacation Bible School June 19-23 from 9 a.m. to noon. The theme for the week is “Celebrate Jesus.” There will be classes available from 2 years through adult. All are welcome. Host pastor is the Rev. John A. Jackson.

ST. MARY’S HOLINESS CHURCH, Dobbins Heights, will hold its Vacation Bible School June 19-23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

CORDOVA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 130 Ledbetter St., Cordova, will have its Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. June 19-21. The theme for the week will be “HayDay! Growing in Friendship With Jesus” for ages 4 and up.

COBB MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH, 108 Safie 6th St., Rockingham, will host its Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 22-23 and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 24. Commencement will conclude at 6 p.m. on June 25. The theme for the week is “Galactic Starveyors.” There will be crafts, music, food and fun for ages 3 to youth with adult classes included.

FIRST BAPTIST, FIRST UNITED METHODIST AND FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCHES are joining together again for a community Vacation Bible School. It will be held at First Baptist Church in Rockingham (201 N.
