Finally, the end of school. Nothing is more joyous than a kid on summer vacation. Time, when I’m school, seems to pass five times slower and marks years off my life span.

Regardless of plans to be busy or plans to do absolutely nothing, this time is by far more relaxing than any time spent in school.

To do as you please, sleep as you please and schedule yourself all is easier than having to adhere to school policies and scheduling.

Congrats to the class of 2017 for graduating this Friday. This is your last chance to relax on summer vacation. I, on the other hand, find it relaxing not to think of how many school years I have to go through, but how many summer vacations I still have. This, I am sure some — if not most — adults are jealous of.

The last school day was Thursday of this week — though it was a half-day and did not feel as though it was the end as the weather recently has been very cool.

I’m happy to be on break, though I am not excited for events that will rid myself of my summer days.
