Sheriff Mark Gulledge and Chief Deputy Jay Childers recognized Deputy Mark Owens, Deputy Ricky Spivey, Deputy Katelin Brigman and Deputy Arlie Gunn for their completion of the Basic Law Enforcement Training at Richmond Community College on Monday. Deputy Owens received four awards - best overall cadet, overall top grade point average, top firearm score and overall physical fitness.
