The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is again asking for the public’s help to locate Kimberly Thrower, who was 16 when she disappeared from Laurinburg on April 29, 2004.
Thrower was last seen at her bus stop around 7 a.m. that day. At the time, she was 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighed 110 pounds. She had light brown hair and brown eyes. Her tongue was pierced. She could still be in the local area and could be traveling with an unknown male companion.
Thrower is one of 46 children listing as missing in North Carolina on www.missingkids.com. The oldest case is Mark Yoli, who disappeared from Camp Lejeune on Sept. 13, 1962.
The public is urged to call 1-800-THE-LOST (800-843-5678) with any information concerning Thrower’s disappearance or current whereabouts. Calls can be made anonymously.
