The Rockingham Police Department recently arrested Shannon Jermaine Everett, 33, of 110 N. Stewart St., Rockingham, on charges of selling marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, according to a police report. The Richmond County SWAT team executed a search warrant at the residence after receiving information from a reliable source who completed a controlled buy of marijuana at the same residence, police said. The items and drugs were seized and Everett was placed in the Richmond County Jail under a secure bond of $50,000.

Other recent arrests from the Rockingham Police Department include:

— Linette Cheris McNeal, 32, 316 S. Grove St., Hamlet, was arrested for assault and battery. No bond was issued.

— George Kelvin McNeill, 25, 1891 Parker Lane, Rockingham, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.

— Isaac B. McLaughlin, 32, 104 Jackson St., Ellerbe, was arrested for domestic trespassing. No bond was issued.

— Danny Carroll Liles, 30, 136 Southwood Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for larceny. A secure bond was set in the amount of $500.

— Eric James Jones, 29, 432-A S. Caroline St., Rockingham, was arrested for assault on a female.

— Arthur Lee Galloway, 51, 1 Patton St., Bennettsville, was arrested for failure to appear – driving while intoxicated. A secure bond was set in the amount of $2,500.

Arvell Devon Nealy, 29, 419 Outing Club Road, Aiken, S.C., was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving without license/registration and open container. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.

— Lucas Barbour, 33, Ellerbe Springs Room 14, Ellerbe, was arrested for failure to appear – seat belt and failure to appear – driving without license/registration. A secure bond was set in the amount of $500.

— Larceny of a firearm was reported at a residence on North Randolph Street.

— Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a residence on Eastside Drive.

— Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a business on Shannon Drive.

— Larceny of medication was reported at a residence on Blewitt Avenue.

— Domestic assault, disorderly conduct and damage to property were reported in a business parking lot on East Broad Avenue.

— Larceny was reported at a residence on Richmond Road.

— Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at a motel on South Hancock Street.

— Larceny of a dog was reported at a residence on Leak Street.
