Mr. Daniel Jimmy Liles, 76, of 602 Fourth Street, Hamlet, died, Friday, June 22, 2012, at Richmond Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Hamlet.
He was born March 14, 1936, in Richmond County, son of Daniel Belvin Liles and Fannie Spencer Liles.
Mr. Liles was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church, was self employed cabinet maker for Carolina Cabinetry and was a Bluegrass Musician.
Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2012 at Harrington Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM.
The Funeral will be Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rockingham.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger Liles; and three brothers, Billy, Dwight, and Donnie Liles.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Dawkins Liles of the home; sons, Wayne Liles and Teddy Liles both of Hamlet; a brother, Richard Liles of Hoffman; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
