CLEMMONS, N.C. (AP) — A pro-Donald Trump political committee is highlighting its voter turnout program for the Republican presidential nominee in North Carolina with a rally in the Triad featuring notable conservatives as speakers.

Supporters of the Great America PAC were scheduled to arrive by bus Tuesday morning in Clemmons. The group says rally participants included Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight and talk-show hosts Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager and Mike Gallagher.

Great America PAC says it’s spent more than $11 million supporting Trump’s candidacy and has aired thousands of TV and radio spots. The group’s voter turnout effort targets voters in battleground states in North Carolina through a volunteer network it believes will complement get-out-the-vote efforts by the Republican National Committee and Trump campaign.
