CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — A second suspect has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of one of two women shot earlier this week in Charlotte.
Police said in a statement Wednesday night that 24-year-old Jerron Rashad Anderson has been charged with murder and attempted murder in the shooting Monday of 20-year-old Mary Elaine Tarr and another woman.
Twenty-three-year-old Jalen Marquise Anderson was charged Monday with murder, attempted murder and firing a gun into occupied property.
Tarr and another woman were found in a wrecked car Monday morning in southeast Charlotte. The other woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. Her name has not been released.
