RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — A suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a man outside a home in Raleigh.
Local news outlets report 39-year-old Chad Cameron Copley was taken into custody Sunday and charged with murder in the death of 20-year-old Kouren-Rodney Bernard Thomas.
Police say Copley fired a shotgun from inside his garage early that morning, hitting Thomas. Authorities say Thomas was outside the garage when he was shot.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died.
It isn’t immediately clear if Copley has an attorney.
