LUMBERTON, N.C. (AP) — A Lumberton man released two years ago after serving time for manslaughter is now wanted on a murder charge.

Robeson County Sheriff’s Maj. Anthony Williams tells local media that a warrant charging 27-year-old Quentin Jamale Williams with first-degree murder has been issued.

Williams is wanted in the shooting death of 29-year-old Taurus Locklear of Rowland.

Locklear’s body was found early last Friday in a car that was parked with its motor running just south of Lumberton.

Authorities say Williams was released from prison in March of 2014 after serving almost seven years for manslaughter.
