Farmville police to host ‘Pokemon Go’ for public, officers

FARMVILLE, N.C. (AP) — The Farmville Police Department is hosting an event to make sure “Pokemon Go” players stay safe.

The department is hosting an event called “Po-Po Pokémon Go.” It’s scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. on the Town Common and baseball fields.

Those attending the event can play the game with officers and learn the best safety way to stay safe while playing.

The event is free and open to the public.
