CINCINNATI (AP) — A newspaper is suing a southern Ohio county over access to the preliminary autopsy results of eight relatives who were slain three months ago.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (http://cin.ci/2a7WSPh ) that it’s filed suit against Pike County for the records.

The newspaper’s attorney says Pike County Prosecutor Rob Junk has refused to allow a reporter to review the autopsy report and has not cited any applicable law to justify his refusal.

The newspaper attempted to contact Junk, but he was said to be unreachable Friday because of a vacation. His office was closed Saturday.

Seven adults and a 16-year-old boy from the Rhoden family were found dead April 22 at four properties near Piketon. Authorities refuse to discuss details, possible suspects or motives, saying they don’t want to jeopardize the investigation.
