Myrtle Wilson Meacham Reynolds, 92, of Ellerbe, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Ellerbe with Rev. Elizabeth Polk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home.

Reynolds was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Benjamin Foster and Minnie Winfrey Reynolds Meacham. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and had retired from Commonwealth Hosiery. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Reynolds, and siblings, Grady Meacham, Arthur Meacham, Bessie Pankey, Jesse Meacham, Charles Meacham, and Ettie Meacham.

Surviving are her son, George R. “Ronnie” Reynolds of the home, and a sister, Nettie Shelton of West End.
