Willie Carl Swiney, 64, of Hamlet, died Wednesday Nov. 14, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, at 12 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. George Swiney and Rev. Brooms officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home Chapel, Rockingham.
He was born April 12, 1948, in Richmond County to the late Bernie and Lula Downer Swiney.
Surviving are one son, Lenard Pringle of Washington, D.C., one brother, George Allen Swiney of Washington, D.C., two sisters, Linda Swiney of Washington, D.C., and Thelma Thomas Swiney of Hamlet.
McNeill Funeral Home of Rockingham, is serving the family.
