Kathy Long Caulder of Hope Mills, NC, died Sunday, Sept. 16 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, after battling cancer for almost two years.
Kathy was born June 1, 1958 in Rockingham to Marley and Carol Haywood Long. She has one sibling, Lisa Long.
Kathy was a devoted teacher in the Cumberland County School system for twenty six years. Previously, she taught in other areas for six years, making her teaching career 32 years.
Kathy is survived by one son, Willie Caulder of Omaha, Nebraska; two daughters, Krystal Brunkhorst of Hope Mills and Kandice Robbins of El Paso, Texas and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Kathy will be Saturday, Sept. 22 at Southview Baptist Church in Hope Mills at 2:00 PM.
