Henry “Boy” Crouch Jr., 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at McLendon Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McArthur officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove and Love Grove Cemetery, West End.

The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 7:30 p.m.

Crouch was born on June 17, 1925, in Richmond County, to the late Henry Crouch Sr. and Maggie Little Crouch. He was employed in the textile industry. Crouch was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rosetta Crouch, and son, Richard Crouch.

He is survived by four daughters, Mae King, Jackson Spring, N.C., Ruth Utley, Taylor Town, Maxine Crouch, Raeford, Eline McDougald, Rockingham, son, James Crouch, Biscoe, sisters, Helen Leak, Rockingham, Lucille Standback, Rockingham, Hennetta Hedons, Raeford, brothers, Lacy Crouch, Frank Crouch, and George Crouch all of Rockingham.

McLendon Funeral Home, Ellerbe, is assisting the family.
