Laura “Gerry” McDuffie Allen of 355 James Davis Road, Clinton, S.C., formerly of Hamlet, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at her residence.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 31, at 11 a.m. at Richmond Memorial Park with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. Burial will follow.
Mrs. Allen was born June 4, 1934, in Hamlet, daughter of John McDuffie and Laura Chappell McDuffie. She was retired from 3M Company.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Mack Allen Jr.
Survivors include her son, Mack Allen III of Clinton, S.C.; daughter, Debbie Smith of Laurens, S.C.; and sister, Joyce Cobb of Rockingham.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Allen family.
