James Edward Brown, 52, of 122 Sanborn Drive, Hamlet, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at his residence.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn Brown of Shelby; one sister, Debbie King of Concord; two brothers, Tony Brown of Hamlet and Kenneth Brown of Fortworth, Texas.
Hodges-Little Memorial Funeral Service of Rockingham is serving the Brown Family.
