Mrs. Emma Logan Deese Rogers, 88, of Dovesville, SC, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012. She was born February 25, 1924 a daughter of the late, Frank and Julia Logan.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 17th in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence, SC. Interment followed in Mount Hope Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Carnes; three sisters; and five brothers.
Surviving are her husband, John S. Rogers of the home; two daughters, Agnes Webb and her husband, Boyce of Rockingham and Jackie Gibson of Rockingham; two sons, Danny Deese and his wife, Diane of Wadesboro and Richard Dees and his wife, Sandy of Florence; a stepson, Steve Rogers of Florence; forty two grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and twelve great great grandchildren.
