Robert Dolan Loflin, 77, of Norman, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chappell Cemetery in Ellerbe with Rev. Donnie Davis officiating.

The family will see friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home on Cemetery Road.

Mr. Loflin was born April 11, 1935, in Richmond County, a son of the late June A. and Verna Ruby Hines Loflin. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, had served in the United States Army and had retired from L.G. Dewitt, Inc.

Surviving are his wife, Lois Lamonds Loflin of the home; sons, Ricky A. Loflin of Greensboro, Roger D. Loflin of Norman, Rodney W. Loflin of Troy; one grandchild; and brothers, Golia Loflin of Troy and Roy Loflin of Mebane.
