Sylvester Davis, 73, of Hamlet, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Richmond Pines.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Life Church of Deliverance in Hamlet with the Rev. Sam Davis, Pastor, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday at Nelson Funeral Home of Hamlet.
Survivors include three sons, Kenny Davis of Raleigh, Anthony Davis of Hamlet and Lee Vincent Davis of Concord; a daughter, Jocelyn Davis Terry of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Woodrow Davis and Walter Davis, both of Hamlet; two sisters, Aggie Riggins and Annie Covington, both of Hamlet; and four grandchildren.
Nelson Funeral Service of Hamlet is assisting the family.
