Barbara Jean Benton DeLoach, 67, of Jesup, Ga., formerly of Rockingham, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the home of her daughter.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at Abundant Life Church with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. DeLoach was born Feb. 17, 1945, in Seio, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert and Eunice Harmon Seevers. She was also preceded in death by a son Eddie Daniel Benton. She retired from the textile industry where she was a spinner.
She is survived by her husband Charles E. DeLoach, two sons, Tim Benton of Hamlet and Eddie Benton of Raleigh, two daughters, Cheryl Black of Rockingham and Pam Myers of Hamlet, one brother James Sears of Jesup, Ga., one sister, Dee Proudfoot of Darien, Ga., and eleven grandchildren.
Carter Funeral Home is serving the family.
