Mrs. Ellen Henderson Ingram, 90, of 718 Washington Avenue, Hamlet, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Hospice of Scotland County, Laurinburg, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Johnie J.Ingram and daughter, Vonzella D. Ingram.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at First Baptist Church, 329 West Avenue, Hamlet, with Dr. Harold C. Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park in Rockingham.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Service in Hamlet.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by her daughter, Brendolyn I. Moore, Hamlet, NC; one grandson, Major George Lynn Moore, II (Captain Christine G. Moore) Eastover, NC; one granddaughter, Kimbrelyn De’Nia Moore, Charlotte, NC; one great-grandson, George Lynn Moore, III and one great-granddaughter, Ximia Dymonde Moore, Eastover, NC; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
