Dorothy Diggs Bennett, 91, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Richmond Pines in Hamlet.
A funeral service will be held on April 19, 2012, at 1 p.m. at New Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church, 113 Bethel Church Road, Hamlet, with the Pastor, Rev. Bula C. Legrand, officiating.
Ms. Bennett was born on July 24, 1920, to the late Effie Robinson Diggs and Henry Diggs.
Survivors are 2 daughters-in-law; 6 grandchildren; great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nelson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
