If you are looking for governmental agencies and foundations who believe in your organization, you have a non-profit that needs funding or you need or want to learn more about grant writing, the Grant Writing A-Z Part I and Part II seminar could help you.
Grant Writing A-Z, Part I will be held on March 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. and the Part II seminar will be held on March 28, from 6 to 9 p.m.. Both seminars will be in the Cole Auditorium at Richmond Community College and are sponsored by RCC’s Small Business Center.
“Many times, non-profits have amazing visions and missions of how to help marginalized people and yet struggle to find funding or someone who believes in their cause. Gypsie Murdaugh will share information that ensures these organizations that there are funding resources,” said a statement released by Deborah Hardison, director of the Small Business Center.
The seminar will talk about finding resources for grants, completing grant applications, writing effective narratives for grants and selling the vision to funding resources.
Murdaugh is a former attorney, community college instructor/administrator, grant writer, business owner and presently serves as a pastor. She is a certified counselor and consultant for non-profits throughout the Carolinas. Murdaugh has procured millions of dollars in grants over the last 20 years and has been teaching grant writing techniques since 1989.
This seminar is free and open to the public.
