“Here at Smith’s Vinyl Signs we specialize in many vinyl needs,” said Smith. “We make signs, banners, magnets, window lettering, decals and also offer neon signs and LED lights.”
Smith’s Vinyl Signs is located at 1220 Suite A on Rockingham Road in Rockingham.

Smith said he was into low-rider trucks for a while, and went to purchase a small decal, for which the store owner wanted $35. Smith didn’t go through with the purchase, and after a night of contemplation he decided he could do it better.
“I woke up that morning and wanted to go into the sign business,” said Smith.
Now his wife helps him, and together they come up with new ideas together. She makes decorative wreathes out of ribbons and soon they will begin making football shaped signs for your favorite teams.
“I was working out of the house but I opened my shop February 13,” said Smith. “Business has been pretty good as far as walk-ins go, but I haven’t gotten to the big signs yet.”
